What Rooky is

Rooky is a personal iPhone app that lets you follow an automated trading strategy for SPY (the S&P 500 ETF) options in real time. It brings the whole trading day into one place: what the strategy is watching, when it enters and exits a position, and how the account is performing — so you always know what your money is doing.

What you can do in the app

• Live dashboard — net liquidation value, open option positions, and today’s realized and unrealized profit & loss, updated throughout the trading session.
• Trading journal — every session and every trade recorded as a page: entry and exit premiums, hold time, the setup that triggered it, and the outcome.
• Performance analytics — win rate, average profit and loss per trade, month-to-date results, and the strategy’s measured edge over time.
• Market intelligence — market-sentiment reads, model calibration, and research on the current market conditions.
• Alerts — timely notifications when the strategy enters or exits a trade.

About the strategy

Rooky tracks an automated system that trades one-day-to-expiry SPY index-ETF options on a simulated (paper) brokerage account. It reads live market data, applies a defined set of entry and exit rules, and manages risk with automatic stop and give-back protection. Rooky is an educational, personal-use financial-markets tool for following and understanding that strategy — it is not investment advice and does not manage anyone else’s money.

About this domain

api.rookytech.com is the secure backend service for the Rooky iOS app. It provides a read-only trading-data API over HTTPS that the app uses to display the dashboard, journal, and analytics described above. It is operated by RookyTech and is a legitimate financial-services application backend — not a parked, malicious, or phishing domain.
